Privacy Policy for X-ray Interpreter
Last Updated: November 11, 2025
At X-ray Interpreter, we prioritize the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we collect and how it is used.
Part 1: Your Unified Account
To access many of our services, you can create a single, unified user account. This account can be used across the X-ray Interpreter platform, RadAIChat, RadAI Slice, and Find Radiology.
Information We Collect for All Registered Users
When you register for an account, we collect the following Personal Information to create and manage it:
- Your name
- Your email address
Part 2: Privacy for Our "X-ray Interpreter" Service
This section applies when you use your account to access our AI-powered
platform for medical image interpretation, primarily accessible via
xrayinterpreter.com and its associated domains (xrays.ai, xraygpt.com,
ctgpts.com, mriagi.com).
Service-Specific Data We Collect
- X-ray Images: Images and any related notes you upload for the purpose of interpretation.
- Usage Data: When you use this service, we also collect general Usage Data and use Cookies, as described in Part 7 below.
Image Storage and User Control
We store your uploaded X-ray images and any generated reports on our secure servers. These are private and linked to your account. You have full control to delete your images and any associated reports at any time.
Part 3: Privacy for Our "RadAI Slice" Platform
This section applies when you interact with our RadAI Slice newsletter and
content platform, primarily accessible via xrayinterpreter.com/radaislice and
its associated domain radaislice.com.
Information We Collect for RadAI Slice
- For All Visitors: When you interact with the RadAI Slice platform, we collect general Usage Data and use Cookies, as described in Part 7 below.
- For Newsletter-Only Subscribers: If you only subscribe to the newsletter without creating an account, we collect just your email address to send you communications. Our emails may contain tracking technologies (like web beacons) to help us measure engagement, such as open and click rates. We use this data to improve our content and understand what is most valuable to our readers.
- For Registered Users: Your unified account can be used to access features such as saving or bookmarking research papers and FDA-cleared devices. We store the identifiers of the papers or devices you save so we can display your list when you return. You can remove these saved items at any time from your account settings.
Part 4: Privacy for Our "RadAIChat" Service
This section applies when you use RadAIChat, our conversational AI assistant
available via xrayinterpreter.com/radaichat, xrayinterpreter.com/chat, and
our associated domain radaichat.com.
Information We Collect for RadAIChat
- Conversation Data: Prompts, responses, and any attachments you choose to upload (e.g., images, reports) to provide context for your case discussions.
- User Feedback: Optional ratings or comments that you submit to help us improve responses.
- Usage Data: Technical logs, metadata, and diagnostics—similar to the data described in Part 7—to help us ensure performance, conduct auditing, and support billing where applicable.
How We Use Your RadAIChat Data
- Service Delivery: We process conversation content to generate responses, create draft reports, route data to the AI providers you select, and provide workflow suggestions. Depending on your settings, conversation snippets may be shared with multiple AI model providers. You can review the current model and provider options at xrayinterpreter.com/radaichat/changelog.
- Quality Assurance: Authorized team members may review conversation snippets to improve models, investigate abuse, or resolve support issues. We apply administrative and technical safeguards to limit access to trained personnel.
- Local Processing & Upload Controls: RadAIChat processes DICOM studies locally in your browser session. Only the image(s) you explicitly select for chat context are uploaded, and identifying metadata is stripped before transmission.
- Retention & User Controls: Conversation history and uploaded images are stored within our secure cloud infrastructure so you can revisit prior chats. You can configure automatic deletion windows in settings and manually delete specific conversations at any time.
- Sensitive Information & PHI Guard: RadAIChat includes a PHI Guard feature that is enabled by default to block obvious PHI in text prompts. If you disable PHI Guard, you accept full responsibility for any PHI you choose to provide and must ensure you have the legal right to share it.
Part 5: Privacy for Our "Find Radiology" Directory
This section applies when you use our Find Radiology service, primarily
accessible via xrayinterpreter.com/radiology-centers and its associated domain
findradiology.com.
Information We Collect for Find Radiology
- The directory itself consists of publicly available data about radiology centers.
- When you browse the directory, we collect general Usage Data and use Cookies, as described in Part 7 below.
- Your unified account can be used to interact with directory features, such as saving favorite centers or submitting reviews. We collect this interaction data to provide those features to you.
Part 6: Privacy for Our Free Tools
This section applies when you use our free, browser-based tools (e.g., our DICOM Viewer, DICOM Anonymizer, etc.), accessible through our main platform.
How Our Free Tools Work
- No File Uploads: These tools are designed for your privacy. Any files you open are processed in your browser. No files or personal health information are ever uploaded to, or stored on, our servers.
- Optional Public Reviews: Some tools may allow you to optionally submit a review, which may include a name and a comment. Please be aware that any name and comment you submit will be publicly displayed on our website. This system is anonymous; we do not link your submission to an account or IP address. The name you provide is for display purposes only.
- Usage Data Only: We do collect general Usage Data and use Cookies, as described in Part 7 below, to help us maintain and improve these tools.
Part 7: General Information (Applies to All Services)
The following policies apply generally across all our websites and services.

You provide your payment information directly to LemonSqueezy, and we do not have access to, or store, your full payment card details.
