AI penetration by vendor

53 of 204 exhibitors are AI-focused (26.0%). This ranking excludes AI software and shows where AI-first positioning is strongest across non-software vendor categories.

AI density by vendor type

Regional AI mix

Regional split compares AI-focused and non-AI exhibitor counts to separate absolute footprint from AI-positioning mix.

Geography and AI adoption

Vendor mix by region

Vendor-category distribution differs by region, so go-to-market execution should be localized rather than uniform.

Modality footprint

Modality signals combine total market attention and AI intensity. This helps distinguish mature high-volume domains from modalities where AI positioning is disproportionately strong.

Highest-volume modality: X-ray (62 mentions). Highest AI share in top modalities: Multi-modality (44.8%).

POLL of WEEK

Where will AI create the most competitive advantage in radiology over the next 3 years?

The ECR 2026 begins tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who took part in our previous community poll.

Participation is almost evenly distributed: 31.7% attending in person, 36.5% following online, and 31.7% not participating this year. The results reflect a genuinely hybrid moment for radiology, with virtual engagement slightly ahead while in-person presence remains strong.
